Ephraim, Wis. (May 11, 2026) – The Ephraim Historical Foundation (EHF) 2026 Summer Season kicks off next weekend with free admission to historic museums, and online reservations open for history tram tours, folk art classes, and programs.
Starting at 10AM on Thursday, May 21, visitors will be able to explore the freshly reinterpreted Anderson Store Museum, take tours, and purchase unique merchandise at the new EHF gift shop while enjoying the picturesque views of Eagle Harbor.
The Anderson Barn Museum will open on Tuesday, June 2nd, followed by the opening of our 2026 featured exhibit, Fields of Arrival: Migration, Work, and Memory in Door County, on Tuesday, June 16th. This powerful new exhibit, guest-curated by Dr. Sergio González, explores the stories of migration, labor, and community connected with the orchard industry that have shaped Door County.
History Tram Tours are also back for the season, and bookings are now live at ephraim.org/history-tram-tours. Offerings for tram tours have expanded in 2026, with additional tour dates and three brand-new themed experiences, including:
• Historic Buildings of Ephraim — an exclusive tram tour inside historic museums throughout the village
• Dark History of Ephraim Tram Tour — uncover lesser-known stories from Ephraim’s past
• Village Architecture Tram Tour — explore the architecture and design history of the village
This summer also marks an important milestone in our nation’s history as we commemorate America’s 250th anniversary. Throughout the season, EHF will be offering a variety of special programs and events designed to reflect on the nation’s founding, its connection to local history, and how we continue to work to become a more perfect union.
Admission to all EHF historic properties and museums is free. Tour reservations for this season can be made by visiting ephraim.org/all-tours. Information on all programs, including registration for classes, can be found at ephraim.org/programs.
