The scholarship is made possible through a generous gift.
Fish Creek, Wis. (March 10, 2021) –Northern Sky Theater, together with Werner and Sue Krause, announces the third annual Northern Sky Theater Werner and Sue Krause scholarship, which will support a Door County high school senior pursue a course of study in various theater arts or music performance.
“As patrons of performing arts organizations throughout the state, we are keenly aware of the joy that live theater and music performances bring to audiences young and old,” stated scholarship co-sponsor Werner Krause. “This is particularly true of Northern Sky. They’ve been bringing generations of families like ours together to watch live theater for decades. Sue and I are pleased to support the young people of Door County in pursuing their dreams and careers in the arts.”
The Northern Sky Theater Werner & Sue Krause Scholarship is available to students pursuing a degree in theater or music performance, who exhibit a love for theater or music performance, and who have participated in the performing arts throughout their high school career.
Candidates must be in the final academic year (senior year) of their secondary education and plan to attend a postsecondary educational institution, full-time or part-time, in the fall of the academic year following graduation.
