Open Door Bird Sanctuary Open June 19

June 14, 2021 by Laurel Ciohon

Jacksonport, Wis. (June 14, 2021) – Open Door Bird Sanctuary will officially open for the summer on Saturday, June 19. They will be open every Saturday from 11 am – 4 pm through September 4. There will also be Open Days on Sunday, July 4, and Sunday, Sept. 5.

This season, ODBS is excited to announce expanded hours and new live raptor programming every 20 minutes throughout the day! Raptor geeks can get in depth with our Head Bird Guy at a presentation at 1pm. They are also able to keep our admissions at the same price as last year: Adults $8 and Youth 5-12 $5 and 4+under free.

Stop in, see and learn about their birds, walk the trails, bring a picnic lunch and discover what makes Open Door Bird Sanctuary such a wonderful place! It is the only attraction like this in Door County so don’t miss the chance to see hawks, owls, falcons and eagles in a close up and natural environment!
