Door County, Wis. (September 13, 2025) – Wisconsin Cheese Masters is partnering with Open Door Bird Sanctuary (ODBS) for the fifth year to raise funds for the Jacksonport sanctuary’s educational programming and raptor care.
ODBS staff and resident raptors will be on hand for a meet-and-greet on Sunday, Sept. 14, 11 am – 2 pm at Wisconsin Cheese Masters, 4692 Rainbow Ridge Court in Egg Harbor. Wisconsin Cheese Masters will donate 10% of the day’s sales to ODBS.
Next, ODBS collaborates with Thirsty Cow Taphouse on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2-5 pm, 7899 Cty A in Baileys Harbor. For the second time this year, a portion of the day’s drink wall profits will contribute to the fundraising efforts.
Local business support continues to play an important role in the programming mix. This is a great chance to get double the enjoyment first by visiting and supporting local establishments and second, in turn, giving a helping hand to the sanctuary. Event proceeds will help ODBS expand its educational programming around the county and keep the raptors in top shape in addition to making way for new residents in the coming months.
