Jacksonport, Wis. (May 16, 2022) – Open Door Bird Sanctuary is bringing back the Raptor Rambles, a pair of fun and family friendly events.
The first event on Friday June 10 will be an opportunity to meet and learn about daytime birds of prey. Between 11am–1pm, you can enjoy a picnic lunch and then take your Raptor map and head out on the trail of discovery. Small groups will find their way to various daytime raptors and more while exploring our unique and easy to walk trails that wind throughout the sanctuary’s 33 acres. The resident raptors will be with a handler who will clue you in on all the cool things about their bird. It’s a great way to see other parts of the sanctuary that you haven’t visited or a great way to discover ODBS for the first time.
The other viewing areas will also be open during the 2-hour event. Stay tuned for our evening event, “Seeking Owls” coming in September.
Cost for this event is adults $15, kids 10 and under $8.
Limited tickets are available. Contact Jillaine at 414-897-6569 to reserve. Payment in advanced required.
