Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (Augusts 1, 2023) – Open Door Pride’s August Mixer will be on August 20, 2023 at Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center’s outdoor pool at 107 North 1st Avenue, Sturgeon Bay from 2pm until 5pm.
We will celebrate summer with a Tea Dance. Tea dances were events organized on Sunday afternoons in the US gay community, originating in New York in the 1950s and 1960s, when being served a drink in public was illegal. People within the LGBTQ community would get together on Sunday afternoon for a cocktail, socialize and dance in a safe location.
The event is free and open to the public ages 21 and over. DJ AJ will be playing dance music and there will be a cash bar available. Come and celebrate summer!
