Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (June 19, 2023) – Open Door Pride will be hosting its 7th Annual Pride Festival on June 24 from 10am – 5pm in Martin Park, 207 South 3rd Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. Festival will include vendors, food, beverages, music, games, art activities, 50/50 raffle and so much more. Admission to the festival is free.
To start the Festival, Coleen Bins of Chief Oshkosh (Egg Harbor) will once again honor our event with an indigenous invocation of Pride. For the second year in a row, the festival will be MC’d by Barret Tryon. DJ Tim Waters, from Madison will be providing great dance music all day. Local Door County singer/songwriter Katie Dahl will perform at 3:30pm.
Open Door Pride will be recognizing its annual winner of the Sandy Brown Award; an award given to a person or organization who has made significant contributions to the LGBTQIA+ community and has had a direct impact on making Door County a more welcoming place to visit and live.
