Opening Reception for the Collection Invitational, Unveiling of the Community Mosaic Project

July 13, 2026 by Laurel Ciohon

Ephraim, Wis. (July 13, 2026) – The Hardy Gallery is pleased to announce the Opening Reception for the Collection Invitational & Collector’s Choice Benefit on July 10th, 5:30–7pm. This annual exhibition features work by more than forty established local and regional artists. Highlighting two works from each artist, one is donated by the artist for the Collector’s Choice Benefit, the organization’s largest special event fundraiser. This is an excellent opportunity to see a variety of work by a selection of the region’s most established artists, as well as add an original work to your personal collection.

The Opening Reception for the Collection Invitational & Collector’s Choice Benefit also features the unveiling of the popular Community Mosaic Project, celebrating its 19th year this exhibition season! This project consists of 388 individual 6”x6” works of art from artists of all ages and backgrounds, and is the Hardy’s most engaging community-driven program! The Community Mosaic is on display at the same time as the Collection Invitational, and you are able to purchase one of the canvases through a blind mailing; all proceeds benefit the nonprofit organization.

The Hardy Gallery is located at 3083 Anderson Dock, directly on the shores of Ephraim’s Eagle Harbor. It is open to the public from May 22 – October 11; 10 am – 5 pm Monday – Saturday, 12 – 5 pm on Sundays, and admission is free. Please note that the gallery will be closed for exhibit installation from May 18 – 21, July 6 – 9, and August 24 – August 27, 2026. All exhibits end on Sundays at 3 pm. The gallery closes for the season on October 11, 2026 at 3pm.
