Peninsula Pet of the Week: Cardio

December 15, 2025 by Laurel Ciohon

Cardio is 10 years old, weighs 11 pounds, and is available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus. Staff have fallen in love with this older gentleman. They say he loves to greet people, sit right down next to them, and get lots of treats and pets. Staff also say to not let his age fool you, he still has plenty of energy to keep the whole house entertained.

Like all cats at WHS, Cardio is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He also goes home with a free bag of starter food and a certificate for a free vet exam. Come visit Cardio during adoption hours at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus and take him home the very same day. Plus, you can even name your own adoption fee!
