Peninsula Pet of the Week: Chalupa

September 10, 2019 by Laurel Ciohon

Meet Chalupa, a 5-month-old kitten available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus! Chalupa has made an incredible transformation during his time with them.

At first, he was extremely fearful of humans and it seemed he would be most successful living outdoors as a barn cat. Two weeks later, he finally realized he was safe and began to reveal his softer side. He tends to still be shy in new situations and will likely need time to adjust to his new home, but deep down he’s a loving, playful kitten who can’t wait to have a place to call home.

Like all cats at WHS, Chalupa has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Stop in and meet him during the WHS Door County Campus’ open adoption hours!
