Peninsula Pet of the Week: Chester

August 5, 2020 by Laurel Ciohon

Meet Chester, a handsome 2-year-old cat available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus! He is talkative and friendly yet independent, the type of cat who will enjoy your company rather than your lap.

Chester also happens to be FIV+. Cats with FIV can live a normal lifespan when kept indoors and brought to the vet regularly. Originally found as a stray with scars on his head and legs, we can only guess what he endured in his past. Thankfully he was found and now has a bright future with a loving family to look forward to.

Like all cats at WHS, Chester is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, plus you get to name your own adoption fee! To meet this affectionate kitty, call the WHS Door County Campus at 920-746-1111.
