Peninsula Pet of the Week: Duke

February 21, 2018 by Laurel Ciohon

Meet Duke! He is an 8 month, Bluetick Beagle/Coonhound and weighs 35 lbs. He was surrendered to us on February 9 because his owner didn’t have enough time for him. He is great with other dogs, strangers, and grew up with a toddler at home. He likes car rides, stuffed animals, and sniffing everything out. He needs some more leash training but can do a few tricks like sit, shake, roll over, and catch food off his nose after waiting for the cue.

If you are interested in meeting Duke or filling out an application, please stop in during normal open hours.

Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus | 3475 County Road PD (across from Cherryland Airport)

Sturgeon Bay | 920-746-1111

Open for adoptions: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12-6pm and Saturday from 12-4pm
