Never judge a cat by their name, especially with George and Gertrude. They are an 8-year-old bonded pair of sisters at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus. That’s right, sisters! George is the black and white beauty who chirps with approval when you pet her, then head bumps you for more. Gertrude is the gray and white cutie who, while more soft-spoken, still appreciates a good ear scratch.
We could never split this dynamic duo up, so we’re requiring that George & Gertrude go home together. Like all cats at WHS, they have been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, plus you get to name your own adoption fee! If you have room in your home and heart for double the love, come meet George and Gertrude during our adoption hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 12-6 pm and Saturday 12-4 pm.
