WISCONSIN HUMANE SOCIETY DOOR COUNTY CAMPUS
This week we want you to meet Gerry! He’s a 4-year-old, DSH, buff/white, tabby. He was brought in as a stray on 2/28. He’s very friendly and relaxed. He’s also comfortable, confident and great when the staff does any medical work on him. He likes to lay around and chill. He’s great with other cats, but is FIV+ (don’t worry, this doesn’t spread to humans). Most cats who have this condition can live normal, healthy, and long lives. For more information on this, please search online. In addition, stay tuned for next Monday’s Adoption story on our website which covers three happy cats living long, healthy lives despite the condition. We hope Gerry can find an affectionate and loving home. Please contact Khia here at the shelter if you have any more questions regarding FIV. Also, feel free to stop in and visit this stoic and handsome guy.
