Gizmo is a 9-month-old kitten available for adoption from the WHS Door County Campus. Having been found a stray, he came to us in pretty terrible shape; he had a tick, his ear canals were plugged with debris, and his fur was so matted some parts required shaving. Staff also discovered that Gizmo is blind. Understandably, he is cautious and easily startled by new noises but once he realizes he is safe, he is sweet as can be and just wants to be cuddled and played with like any other kitten.
Gizmo’s favorite toy is a feathered ball that rattles. He is able to follow the noise and pounce so well you momentarily forget he can’t see. Spend a few minutes with him, and you’ll see just how inspiring a mere 5lb kitten can be.
Like all cats at WHS, he is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, now all he needs is safe and loving place to call home!
