Peninsula Pet of the Week: Maple

June 9, 2026 by Laurel Ciohon

Maple is 2 years old, weighs 36 pounds, and is available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus. Maple loves to run around outside and stay active. Staff say she enjoys meeting new friends and greets people with an excited wiggle and a wagging tail. Maple would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the attention and enjoy plenty of one-on-one fun with her family.

Like all dogs at WHS, Maple is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She also goes home with a free bag of starter food and a certificate for a free vet exam. Come visit Maple during adoption hours at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus and take her home the very same day!
