Peninsula Pet of the Week: Mushka

January 6, 2026 by Laurel Ciohon

Mushka is 4 years old, weighs 10 pounds, and is available for adoption from the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus. Right now, Mushka is at a foster home while she looks for a loving home. Her foster parents say she is an absolute gem with her sweet and affectionate personality. They say she is an excellent biscuit maker and loves to rub and headbutt everyone she meets.

Like all cats at WHS, Mushka is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She also goes home with a free bag of starter food and a certificate for a free vet exam. If you are interested in adopting Mushka, make sure to get in touch with her foster family by heading to her online profile at wihumane.org/adopt. You can even name your own adoption fee!
