Peninsula Pet of the Week: Percy

December 19, 2017 by Laurel Ciohon

Percy came to us this past August during the Washington Island rescue. He’s 8 years old. He’s very sweet but slightly reserved. He loves to gently nibble your fingers in thanks for a good petting! He also loves his snuggly bed. Percy has had limited contact with people and takes a while to warm up. He has become comfortable with our night staff and welcomes snuggles. He has a very low-key and calm personality.

We would like him to go to a home that has a similar cat or with someone who would be able to adopt him with one of his current colony mates, preferably Aznoe, who could pass for his twin. He does have arthritis and takes a medication daily. If you are interested in meeting Percy, please stop in during normal open hours.

Door County Humane Society  | 3475 County Road PD (across from Cherryland Airport) | Sturgeon Bay | 920-746-1111

Open for adoptions: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12-6pm and Saturday from 12-4pm
