Peninsula Pet of the Week: Rynessa

October 6, 2025 by Laurel Ciohon

Rynessa is 1 year old, weighs 7 pounds, and is available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus. Staff say Rynessa is a social butterfly and loves to greet everyone who walks into the shelter. They say when she isn’t welcoming guests, Rynessa likes to lounge around where everyone can see just how pretty she is. And if you decide to take her home, you can even name your own adoption fee!

Like all cats at WHS, Rynessa is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She also goes home with a free bag of starter food and a certificate for a free vet exam. Come visit Rynessa during adoption hours at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus and take her home the very same day!
