This week we want you to meet Stuart! He’s been here since November 27. He’s 11 years old, but don’t let that scare you away. He seems years younger! He’s a little reserved, but once he gets to know you he welcomes affection.
Unfortunately, Stuart had Flea Bite Dermatitis. He is allergic to flea bites and when he got here he was covered in fleas. He lost a lot of his hair and had many scabs and open wounds. He was given an injection that helped and is doing better now. While he loves attention and to be pet, his skin is still sensitive. He will let you know when he doesn’t want to be pet anymore because the stimulation is too painful. If you are interested in meeting Stuart, please stop in during our normal open hours.
