Peninsula Pet of the Week: Ted

February 16, 2026 by Laurel Ciohon

Ted is 1 year old, weighs 53 pounds, and is available for adoption at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus. Ted is an absolute lovebug, with staff having already fallen in love with his goofy personality. They say his favorite things to do are to cuddle, give kisses, and run around outside in the snow. They also say he enjoys long naps and would make a great addition to any home.

Like all dogs at WHS, Ted is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He also goes home with a free bag of starter food and a certificate for a free vet exam. Come visit Ted during adoption hours at the Wisconsin Humane Society Door County Campus and take him home the very same day! Plus, for a limited time only, you can name your own adoption fee!
