Peninsula Pet of the Week: Tunnel Runner

December 5, 2019 by Laurel Ciohon

Meet Tunnel Runner! This 3-month-old kitten was found running through a pipe system looking for his mom. Lost, afraid, and stuck, we don’t know just how long he sat in the dark waiting and wondering what his future held. Thankfully, someone heard his cries and the police were able to safely rescue him.

Given his rough start to life, it’s understandable that he is a bit shy in new situations and when meeting new people, but with a little patience, Tunnel Runner will come out of his shell to play, snuggle, and purr up a storm!

Like all cats at WHS, he has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, plus his adopter will receive a certificate for a free vet exam!
