Fish Creek, Wis. (January 31, 2022) – Plum Bottom Gallery is opening their third location and is coming to Fish Creek. The gallery, now in it’s 16th year and owned by Chad Luberger and his wife Angela Olson-Luberger, will open this Spring in the building previously occupied by J. Jeffery Taylor.
“When Jeri and Jeff Taylor decided to retire we knew we wanted to continue the strong tradition that they’d established of offering high quality, unique fine jewelry and art in downtown Fish Creek,” says Luberger. “It was an honor working with Jeri to help bring many of J.Jeffery’s customer favorites on board at Plum Bottom”
Some of those favorites include Wisconsin native Joy Kruse, maker of high quality, hand crafted jewelry featuring dynamic gemstones. The gallery will also expand the offerings in Fish Creek location to include the many nationally-collected artists the gallery now represents. Owner and jewelry artist Angela Olson-Luberger also plans to offer her hand-forged line of rings, earrings and necklaces.
“What an opportunity to bring my art to the many folks visiting Fish Creek, Chad and I are thrilled to expand to Northern Door.”
When Luberger first returned to Door County in 2005 he started working at the renowned Potters’ Wheel Gallery in Fish Creek. There he learned much about the art business and how to run a gallery from Ginka Cohn.
“It’s exciting to me to come full circle back where I started my career as an artist and unknowingly began my education as a gallery owner. Ginka really showed me the joy that running a gallery can bring, I owe her and Abe quite a lot.”
Plum Bottom Gallery will welcome customers thru their doors in Fish Creek late Spring 2022.
