Egg Harbor, Wis. (October 23, 2026) – Plum Bottom Gallery is excited to welcome acrylic artist Rachel Christopoulos to its collection of more than 200 nationally collected artists and jewelers. Known for her vibrant Impressionist Pop Art paintings, Christopoulos brings a fresh perspective to the gallery with artwork inspired by nature, everyday experiences, and the captivating ways light interacts with the world around us.
Christopoulos’ work is now on display at Plum Bottom Gallery’s Fish Creek location and is making its online debut at plumbottomgallery.com, allowing art collectors and enthusiasts to explore her collection both in person and online.
Working primarily in acrylic, Christopoulos draws inspiration from the ordinary moments that make life extraordinary. A sunrise walk, a hike through a state park, or an evening at a Wisconsin supper club can all spark the idea for a new painting. Rather than focusing solely on the subject itself, she aims to capture the feeling and essence of each experience.
Her paintings are distinguished by an engaging mix of contrasts, pairing soft edges with expressive, chunky brushstrokes and subtle neutrals with bold colors. Her subject matter is equally unexpected, ranging from serene pathways that could be found anywhere to distinctly Wisconsin-inspired details, such as a familiar pickle jar found in local grocery stores.
Despite the variety in her compositions, Christopoulos’ work is united by a central philosophy: anything can be art if you choose to see it that way. This perspective invites viewers to look at familiar surroundings with fresh eyes and discover beauty in unexpected places.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rachel Christopoulos to our collection of artists,” said Chad Luberger, Gallery Director at Plum Bottom Gallery. “Her work offers a wonderful balance of color, texture, and recognizable everyday moments. We love the way she encourages people to see the artistic possibilities in the world around them, and we are excited for our customers to discover her paintings.”
