Egg Harbor, Wis. (July 10, 2023) – Woodwalk Gallery will present “Buckets of Rain: The Songs of Bob Dylan” for five nights from Tuesday-Saturday, July 18-22 at 7 p.m. Memphis multi-instrumentalist Eric Lewis, California-based string player Chris Irwin, local folk crooners Katie Dahl and Jeanne Kuhns, and bassist-percussionists Rich Higdon and Craig McClelland will all perform in this tribute to one of America’s very best songwriters.
In “Buckets of Rain,” this Door County supergroup has created one of the peninsula’s most popular concert traditions. Since 2011, the Buckets band has dipped annually into the deep well of Dylan’s work, breathing new life into classic songs like “Forever Young,” “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” and “Blowin’ in the Wind.”
“With only a couple exceptions, we’ve performed Buckets of Rain almost every year since 2011, when Bob Dylan was turning 70,” said performer Katie Dahl. “This year, he’s turning 82, and I think I speak for the whole band when I say we’re having more fun than ever playing his songs—finding new ones to love, and loving the old ones even more. It’s a stunning group of folks to get to play with, and an amazing canon of work to draw on.”
Woodwalk Gallery is located at 6746 County Road G in Egg Harbor. Tickets cost $32 and are available at www.woodwalkgallery.com. Doors open at 6 p.m., and shows begin at 7 p.m. A cash bar will sell beer and other malted beverages, sparkling water, and soda.
