Fish Creek, Wis. (June 21, 2023) – On Friday, June 23, at 8 p.m., Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present Pride Anthems, a live Pride celebration featuring a cadre of touring performers and Door County’s own Owen Alabado.
Pride Anthems celebrates Pride Month with a vibrant musical journey through 50 years of pride anthems. From Donna Summer and Queen to George Michael, Erasure, Madonna, Lady Gaga and much more, these essential songs take audiences from disco to the present day.
Hollywood Reporter writes that Pride Anthems is “impassioned” with “powerhouse vocals.”
Pride Anthems celebrates, inspires, and commemorates the legacy of the Stonewall Riots, bringing together performers from Broadway, cabaret, and beyond to evoke the struggles, heartache, and joy of queer lives then and now. Directed by Brian J. Nash, Pride Anthems will feature touring performers Natalie Joy Johnson, Kevin Smith Kirkwood, and Jon-Michael Reese, as well as Door County’s own renaissance man, the filmmaker, photographer, actor, and comic Owen Alabado.

The show begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 23. Tickets range from $25 to $35. Advance tickets are recommended and can be made through the DCA box office, located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek.
