Plum Bottom Gallery will host accomplished printmaker Erin Nolan at its Shop Small Saturday celebration on Saturday, November 25th from 11 am – 1 pm.
Printmaker Erin Nolan will be at the gallery demonstrating her woodblock print and fine point etching techniques and her latest work will also be featured in the gallery.
Nolan bases her exceptional work on the “haiku moments” of life, those that appear to have a heightened awareness and clarity. Her imagery is inspired by nature and her favorite places in Door County. Her newest work features quiet moments captured on the Peninsula and include Rock Island imagery as well as various Door County wildlife, each represented in their native landscape.
Nolan’s art medium is called Moku Hanga, a traditional Japanese style of printmaking using hand-carved wooden blocks and handmade Japanese paper.
Stop by the Plum Bottom Gallery on Saturday, November 25th from 11 am – 1 pm, enjoy a glass of Von Stiehl wine and see how this talented artist creates her beautiful artworks.
