Sister Bay, Wis. (October 6, 2025) – Wisconsin’s own critically acclaimed Pro Arte Quartet invites audiences to experience an evening of musical brilliance in a stirring celebration of masterful string quartet repertoire.
The program highlights the ensemble’s artistry and depth with a journey through three iconic works:
· Haydn’s String Quartet in C Major, Op. 50, No. 2, a shining example of classical elegance and wit.
· George Walker’s Lyric for Strings, a poignant and deeply moving meditation from the Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer.
· Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 7 in F Major, Op. 59, No. 1, a bold and innovative work that redefined the possibilities of the quartet form.
