Ephraim, Wis. (August 10, 2020) — Red Putter Mini Golf on Hwy 42 in North Ephraim has announced the winner of its first-ever ‘NON-Tournament’ Mini Golf Tournament, held on August 1-8, 2020.
Rocky Marciano, of Sister Bay, won the NON-Tournament with an impressive showing, a three-round score of 106 (33, 38, 35) earning himself bragging rights forever as The Red Putter is hoping that this will be the one and only NON-Tournament!
Matthew Kraus, the 2019 Pro Tournament Champion, took second place in this year’s NON-tournament with a score of 111. In third place was Chris Opper with a score of 116, followed by a 123 tie between Aaron Risley and Lynn Kraus. 23 golfers took part in the 2020 NON-Tournament after the annual Pro Tournament was cancelled due to social distancing concerns. Any golfers wishing to see how they might have placed in the NON-Tournament are welcome to visit the Red Putter and play this same three-round NON-Tournament course.
The Red Putter is looking forward to the return of its regular Pro Tournament next year on August 7th, 2021. Players who have qualified for the Pro Board will retain their status and then be eligible to play in the 2021 Pro Tournament.
