Ephraim, Wis. (August 10, 2021) — Red Putter Mini Golf on Hwy 42 in North Ephraim has announced the winners of its 19th Red Putter Pro Tournament, held this past Saturday, August 7, 2021. The 2021 Red Putter Pro Champion is Tim Tally of North Carolina, while Matthew Kraus of Menomonee Falls, WI was awarded 2nd place, John Powell of Gaffney, SC, was awarded 3rd place, and Eric Kraft of Brookfield, WI had the best single game score.
It was a tight race for the Red Jacket at the 19th annual event. Tim Tally had three consistently good rounds of 34, 34 and 35 for a three-round total of 103; Matthew Kraus, the reigning 2019 champion, won second place with a 106 total score; John Powell placed third with a 109 total score; and Eric Kraft had the single game highest score of 109.
With his ascension as 2021 Pro Champion, Tim Tally has earned the title of Pro Champion and will return to North Carolina with his trophy, the Tournament’s Red Jacket and $2,000 in prize money.
To enter the 2021 Tournament and join the Red Putter Pro Board, players had to qualify by scoring under par on the course. Players can now qualify for next year’s tournament, which will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2022.
