Fish Creek, Wis. (February 9, 2026) – On Saturday, February 14, at 7 p.m., Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present a double-bill performance of Door County favorite Ruby James and (back at DCA by popular demand) Davina & The Vagabonds.
Ruby James channels the golden-hued nostalgia of ’60s pop through a sharp eye with a smudgy edge. If the ghosts of soul divas were smoking and playing poker, their cackling laughter would sound like Ruby James—timeless spirit, modern heart. The Austin American-Statesman wrote, “Ruby James makes heartbreak sound so good, it hurts.”
Davina & The Vagabonds have created a stir on the national music scene with their high-energy live shows, level A musicianship, sharp-dressed professionalism, and Davina Sowers’s commanding stage presence. With influences ranging from the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Fats Domino to Aretha Franklin and Tom Waits, Davina and her compatriots spurn era, expectation, and classification. Downbeat Magazine wrote “Davina & The Vagabonds combat heartache with sugar and sass.”
The show begins at 7 p.m. on February 14. Tickets range from $29.50 to $49.50, plus sales tax and a facility fee of $2/ticket and $6/order. Advance reservations are encouraged. The DCA box office is located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 12-5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person, on the phone at (920) 868-2728, or online at www.dcauditorium.org.
