Ephraim, Wis. (November 9, 2023) – Celebrate the holiday season at the Ephraim Business Council’s annual Christmas in the Village event on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Throughout the day, participate in the Spot the Snowmen activity by visiting festive open houses at participating businesses: Ephraim Historical Foundation’s Anderson Store, Cultured, Eagle Harbor Inn, Ephraim Library, Ephraim Moravian Church, FM 106.9 The Lodge, Hillside Waterfront Hotel, The Simple Solution, Sip, and Vintique. Spot five of the different color snowmen and report the findings to Ephraim Village Hall between 3:00 – 4:45 to receive a special Ephraim gift.
Colin & Friends will be holding free festive concerts at the Ephraim Moravian Church at 1:00 and 5:45. The Christmas-themed concerts will feature music from “The Nutcracker” and traditional carols.
The area around Ephraim Village Hall will be full of holiday cheer with a bonfire and s’mores kit sales (weather dependent) starting at 2:00 and complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides from 2:30 – 4:00. Santa will make his grand arrival in front of Village Hall on a fire truck at 3:00. He will be greeted by his reindeer and elves in Olson Park, in front of Chef’s Hat Café. Santa will be available for visits inside Village Hall and there will be complimentary craft activities and cookie decorating for all ages from 3:00 – 5:00. Ephraim merchandise will be for sale for those in search of the perfect holiday gift.
At 5:00, Santa and this year’s Fyr Bal Chieftain, G.G. Paschke, will make their way to the Harborside Park gazebo to officially begin the holiday season in the village by lighting the annual Christmas tree.
