Santiago Teaches Kids’ Jazz Funk Dance Classes at DCA’s Cramer Exchange

August 3, 2026 by Laurel Ciohon

Fish Creek, Wis. (August 3, 2026) – On Monday, August 17, dance instructor Elena Santiago will offer three different ballet classes for children at Door County Auditorium (DCA)’s new Cramer Exchange, located across the street from DCA.

The three courses offered on August 17 will be

· “Pop Star Dance Party” (ages 3-5, 9-10 a.m., $35): Dancers will groove, jump, and sparkle while dancing to fun, popular music they know and love. Using simple jazz funk moves and lots of imagination, this class focuses on confidence, coordination, and big performance energy. Perfect for beginners—every dancer will get a chance to feel like a pop star.

· “Pop Star Moves” (ages 6-9, 10:15-11:30 a.m., $45): Dancers will learn fun, upbeat jazz funk choreography set to popular, age-appropriate hits while building rhythm, coordination, and style. This class is all about confidence, personality, and performance in a supportive, high-energy environment.

· “Pop Star Performance Lab” (ages 10 and up, 12:30-2:30 p.m., $50): Dance like you’re on stage or in a music video! In this bold and expressive class, dancers will learn a stylized jazz funk combination set to popular music while focusing on musicality, confidence, and performance quality. We’ll explore grooves, sharp movements, and stage presence.

Any experience/skill levels are welcome for all classes.
