Southern Door, Wis. (October 21, 2021) – Southern Door High School is happy to present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, with lyrics by Tim Rice & music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, November 5-6-7 & 11-12-13, 2021.
“Sha la la, Joseph, you’re doing fine! You and your dreamcoat, ahead of your time!”
One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, eleven brothers and the coat of many colors. The magical musical is full of catchy songs in a variety of styles, from a parody of French ballads, to country-western and calypso along with the unforgettable classics.
There are over 75 high school and middle school students participating in the cast, pit orchestra and crew. The show is scheduled to run Friday and Saturday, November 5 & 6 and Thursday and Friday, November 11 & 12 at 7 pm. Matinee performances will be held on Sunday, November 7 and Saturday November 13 at 2 pm.
