“Gardens Galore” Event Visits Six Beautiful Local Gardens
Sister Bay, Wis. (July 21, 2021) — The Sister Bay Historical Society has announced that its celebrated annual garden walk, “Gardens Galore,” is scheduled for August 5th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., announced Fred Johnson, president.
“You can enjoy strolling through six beautiful gardens and historic properties with tour guides from the Sister Bay Historical Society,” said Johnson. “Each of these Northern Door properties features an aspect that’s highly unique in some way.”
The Gardens Galore properties are all be located in either Ellison Bay or Sister Bay: Turtle Ridge, Hidden Acres, Rhillhaus, Lundquist Home, Logerquist Farm, and Sadler Home Gardens. Property descriptions and addresses are provided on attendees’ tickets, and purchasers can visit the properties in any order they wish, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on August 5th.
The per-person cost of participating in the Garden Walk is $20. Tckets are available online at Door County Tickets (https://doorcountytickets.com/events/gardens-galoreand-so-much-more-8-5-2021). Tickets purchased online will be emailed after your purchase, simply print them out and bring them along on the day of the event as your guide to the various garden properties.
You can purchase tickets in-person at these locations: Jerry’s Flowers (Sister Bay), Anderson House Museum at Corner of the Past (Sister Bay), Sunnypoint Gardens (Egg Harbor), or Sister Bay Info Center (now located in former Casperson’s Funeral Home).
