Sister Bay, Wis. (March 4, 2026) – The goat is back on the bay — and he’s got a brand-new boat this year! Now the question we’re all wondering: when will the goat on a boat float?
Join the fun with Sister Bay’s annual spring tradition. Participants are invited to guess the exact date and time the ice gives way and the goat finally sets sail. Stop by participating businesses to submit your guess.
How to Participate:
- Submit your guess at any participating Sister Bay business (see list below).
- Keep an eye on the bay as the weather warms – when the Goat on a Boat floats, the clock stops.
Winners will be contacted after the official “float” time is confirmed, with prizes awarded to the closest guesses at each business.
