Sister Bay will once again welcome in the New Year with a bang! The 4th Annual New Year’s Eve celebration starts with Door County’s only fireworks show, scheduled for 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 31 at the Sister Bay Ice Rink, 2155 Autumn Court.
We say it every year, but this year’s finale will be bigger than ever! For the best place to view the fireworks, park along Woodcrest Road or Autumn Court. Weather permitting, the ice rink will be open. Bring along a hockey stick and skates for a fun, pickup hockey game or just a nice skate around the rink. The Warming House will be open and selling concessions. Proceeds will support maintenance of the ice rink. Before and after the fireworks show be sure to check out the village restaurants and bars for their celebration menus and specials.The fireworks are sponsored by the Village of Sister Bay.
Top off your evening with the Inaugural Cherry Drop – the first midnight countdown to the New Year in Sister Bay, presented by FM 106.9, the Lodge. The Lodge will warm up the event with the biggest party tunes of all time starting at 10:30 pm, broadcasting live from both Husby’s and The Sister Bay Bowl. Shortly before midnight, the giant sparkling cherry will drop in Sister Bay and welcome in 2018. You should too!
