Southern Door School District is sponsoring a ten-week open lab workshop in its high school Fab Lab for interested adults on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm starting January 29, 2020 through April 1, 2020.
The first session will be a training session, with the remaining nine sessions open for participants to use laser engravers, 3D printers, the vinyl cutter and CNC equipment. Software available for use include CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Aspire, MasterCam, SolidWorks as well as machine specific software.
Instructors are Mr. Glen Vander Velden and Mr. Seth Wilson, and their student assistants.
Workshop costs include registration ($75 Southern Door residents or $125 for non-residents) and any material costs incurred for projects created.
An application form and registration fee must be turned into the Southern Door High School office. Seating is limited and the class will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
