Southern Door School District is sponsoring a ten-week open lab workshop in its high school Fab Lab for interested adults on Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm starting September 18, 2019 through November 20, 2019. The workshop will be taught by Glen VanderVelden and Seth Wilson.
The first session will be a training session with the remaining nine sessions open for participants to use laser engravers, 3D printers, vinyl cutter, plasma cutter, and CNC equipment. Software available for use include CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Aspire, MasterCam, SolidWorks as well as machine specific software.
Workshop costs include registration ($75 Southern Door residents or $125 for non-residents) and any material costs incurred for projects created.
An application form and registration fee must be turned into the Southern Door High School office. Seating is limited and the class will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Application forms are available on the district website at this link or from the high school office.
