The Southern Door County School District invites the community to join in celebrating the success of Coach Courtney Renard and the Southern Door Softball team as they head to state. The Lady Eagles play Campbellsport in a Semi-Final game at Goodman Field at UW-Madison, on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10am.
If enough individuals are interested, the district will sponsor a fan bus for Friday’s game. Individuals who would like to ride the fan bus should sign up in the high school office by 3pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. A $10 fee will be charged per rider.
On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, after 12:00pm, commemorative t-shirts will be for sale in the high school office. Cost will be up to $15 per shirt.
Tickets for the State Softball Tourney are available on the WIAA website: https://www.wiaawi.org.
Go to Tournaments – Softball – Buy Tickets – and then choose the Sessions desired. Tickets will also be available at the gate.
A Welcome Back Reception to celebrate the softball team’s season success will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 at 7:30pm in the community auditorium. The public is invited to attend.
