Offering daily DIY projects and classes by appointment, Hands On Art Studio is a unique destination for an immersive, free-wheeling art experience that puts you in the artist’s chair. Choose from a wide variety of projects — ceramics, fused glass, jewelry, mosaic, and a wide selection of canvases, wood, glass, and metal pieces to paint! For a more structured and educational art experience, Peninsula School of Art is offering several one-day classes this spring on mediums like pen and ink sketching, screen printing, drawing, and more. Be sure to also check out their full slate of summer workshops, which begin in mid-June. 

Make It a Pizza Night
After an afternoon of flexing your creative muscles, you’re going to be hungry. And, whether you take it to go or dine in, Wild Tomato’s wood-fired pizza is the perfect comfort food lunch. Here husband and wife team Cole and Kara Vanderleest create decadent chocolate delights, each handmade and hand-painted from Kara’s own recipes. Time to Unwind
