Sister Bay, Wis. (July 9, 2025) – Midsummer’s Music is at it again—mixing beloved classics with hidden gems in a way only it can. Its latest concert series, The Language of Love: French Piano Trios, is a romantic romp through the world of French music, where passion meets panache. Expect swoon-worthy melodies, sparkling surprises, and the kind of musical magic that keeps audiences coming back for more. Catch the fun from July 19 to July 26, with four fabulous performances you won’t want to miss!
These three late Romantic trios are drenched in the language of love. We begin with a tender “Romance Without Words,” a piece that speaks directly to the soul. From there, we journey into the lush, passionate sound worlds of Édouard Lalo – renowned for his Symphonie Espagnole – and the deeply expressive Ernest Chausson.
Warning: Excessive hand-holding, wistful sighing, and spontaneous cuddling may occur. Bring someone you like. A lot.
