Fish Creek, Wis. (June 28, 2025) – On Monday, July 7, at 8 p.m., Steve March-Tormé and Michael Murphy will join forces at DCA (Door Community Auditorium) to perform Elton John’s classic 1970 album Tumbleweed Connection, along with other hits from that year.
Steve March-Tormé is an acclaimed vocalist, the son of legendary crooner Mel Tormé, and host of 91.1 The Avenue, known for his signature smooth style and rich storytelling. Michael Murphy is a Wisconsin-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter known for his heartfelt Americana and rock-infused compositions.
The two artists’ joint performance, called “Tumbleweed Re-Connection,” centers around a full-album performance of Elton John’s 1970 masterpiece Tumbleweed Connection, as well as a curated selection of other 1970 songs written by James Taylor, Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Band, James Gang, Chicago, and more. Together, March-Tormé and Murphy take audiences on a nostalgic journey through one of the most musically transformative years in modern history.

The show begins at 8 p.m. on July 7. Tickets range from $22-45, plus sales tax and a facility fee of $2/ticket and $6/order. Advance reservations are encouraged. The DCA box office is located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek.
