Fish Creek, Wis. (August 2, 2021) – On Sunday, August 8 at 8 p.m., the high-energy string band Old Crow Medicine Show will perform on the Door Community Auditorium (DCA) Main Stage. The show will also feature an opening set by guitar virtuoso Molly Tuttle.
Old Crow Medicine Show started busking on street corners in 1998, winning audiences along the way with their boundless energy and spirit. It’s been over twenty years since those humble beginnings. Since then, they’ve been inducted as members of the Grand Ole Opry, won two Grammy Awards, and sold two million copies of their trademark single “Wagon Wheel,” which has become a modern-day campfire classic.
No Depression writes of Old Crow Medicine Show, “As life changes, the band evolves, and [they] do what the best purveyors of mountain music have always done: turn tough times into kickass songs.”
Special guest Molly Tuttle is a virtuosic, award-winning guitarist with a gift for insightful songwriting. Since moving to Nashville in 2015, the native Californian has been welcomed into the Americana, folk, and bluegrass communities, winning “Instrumentalist of the Year” at the 2018 Americana Music Awards.
Rolling Stone Country writes, “Between her expressive, crystalline voice and astounding flat picking guitar skills, Tuttle has made history.”
The performance by Old Crow Medicine Show and Molly Tuttle is made possible with support from major sponsors Richard & Barbara Board and Kocourek Auto, as well as supporting sponsors Peninsula Pulse and The White Gull Inn.
