Get your red, white, and blue apparel ready because Sturgeon Bay is ready to put on a spectacular 4th of July celebration! Help Sturgeon Bay celebrate America’s freedom in Sunset Park at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4. Stake your spot early to get an incredible view of the fireworks show which will begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.).
Kick-off the patriotic evening with an old-fashioned ice cream social while enjoying company of friends and family. Top the ice cream sundae off with Door County cherries, chocolate syrup, and much more. Plenty of food and drinks will be available during the event including quesadillas, tacos, nachos, fresh lemonade, brats, hot dogs, burgers, Wisconsin fish, fresh-battered deep fried cheese curds, kettle corn, iced cold-press coffee, cotton candy, sno cones, slushies, and adult and non-alcoholic beverages. Title sponsor, Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, will be handing out festive balloons to attendees as a way to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
While you’re eating and settling into a spot to watch the fireworks show, enjoy live music by Unity the Band- a reggae band out of Milwaukee. Unity the Band will begin jamming out on stage at 6 p.m.
Sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful waterfront fireworks show at Sunset Park. The jaw-dropping fireworks show will begin at dusk (around 9:30 p.m.). Glow sticks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
