Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (August 25, 2022) – Usher in the spirit of autumn with Sturgeon Bay’s Annual Harvest Fest and Street Art Auction on Saturday, September 17.
Don’t miss the Annual Classic Car Parade sponsored by the Old Bolts Car Club. Taking place the evening before Harvest Fest, the classic car parade will kick-off the weekend festivities beginning at 5:30PM on Friday, September 16. Starting from the Door County Fairgrounds, the parade will proceed along Egg Harbor Road, across the Michigan Street Bridge and back across the Maple-Oregon Street Bridge. The parade will end next to Martin Park where food vendors will be serving up some delicious food.
Join us for our annual celebration of autumn and festive fun in Downtown Sturgeon Bay presented with Door County Daily News starting at 8AM on Saturday, September 17. Third Avenue will be closed from Jefferson Street to Pennsylvania Street. Harvest Fest events will include a classic car show, craft fair, a wide variety of food vendors and in-store specials. Live music will be provided by popular rock band Hot off the Grill from 11AM-4PM.
The official “Tapping of the Firkin” by Mayor Ward will take place at noon outside of Starboard Brewing Company on Third Avenue. At 1PM, the excitement continues with a Stein Holding Contest at Starboard Brewing Company. The cost to participate in the contest is $20, and all participants take home a commemorative glass stein.
The Annual Classic Car Show hosted by the Old Bolts Car Club will be on display on Saturday, September 17 along Third Avenue between Michigan Street and Pennsylvania Street with cars stretching down to Graham Park.
Come on down to Martin Park at 3PM for the Cherries Jubilee Street Art Auction presented with Nicolet National Bank. Get one last look at this year’s beautiful cherry street art and hear from the artists themselves before the virtual auction closes at 5:30PM. Can’t attend?
