Plum Bottom Gallery is putting the ART in PARTY and inviting all of you to our 12th Annual Summer Gala, Sunday, July 8, 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Come to the gallery to hob and nob with our artists, fellow art lovers, and eat great food. We are featuring the latest work artists including Chad Luberger, Erin Nolan, Angela Olson Luberger, and Mary White.
Chad Luberger is excited to be back on the potters wheel creating bowls, vases, and his signature Ikebanas. The gala will have a fresh-out-of-the-kiln collection that includes pieces with his Door County Ash glaze in blue and grey, which is mixed with ash from trees cut down on the property. Bring a piece of Door County into your home with a bowl or vase!
Erin Nolan bases her exceptional work on the “haiku moments” of life, those that have a heightened awareness and clarity using drypoint printmaking techniques. Her imagery is inspired by nature and the stories of Door County, which results in her etchings “Cave Point” and “Flora and Fauna Fyr Bal”. Her work captures a magical, special feeling that guarantees to look great in your home.
Angela Olson Luberger is showcasing more work in her jewelry collection, but stop by to be the first to see her new silversmith line. These new silver bracelets and rings detailed with gold and silver in organic shapes are one of a kind pieces of wearable art!
Starry Door County skies, fields of flowers, and the waters of Lake Michigan populate Mary White’s newest textured landscape paintings. Canvases large and small are filled with inspirations from the natural beauty where White lives. Mary’s distinctive imagination captures Door County in a truly unique way.
We are celebrating with a wine selection from our friends at Von Stiehl Winery and Mauricio Martinez’s authentic Mexican cuisine. Stop in and see this and all that Plum Bottom has to offer and experience art, finely crafted!
Plum Bottom Gallery is now open every day from 10-5 PM. Go 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or 5 minutes south of Egg Harbor on Scenic Hwy 42 then east on Plum Bottom Road (1 mile) to 4999 Plum Bottom Rd. Just look for the yellow flags!
