Fish Creek, Wis. (July 13, 2026) – We are pleased to welcome our special guests, the Creek Pickers, to the Gazebo at Noble Square. They will perform on July 21 from 3-5 pm and have deep roots in the Door County bluegrass community.
Door County’s bluegrass musicians are a tight-knit group. Members of different bands often collaborate and sometimes form new bands. Although the Fish Creek band Highland Road stopped performing publicly in 2022, members still gather regularly for jams and picking sessions. Banjo player Andy Coulson and bass player Karen Stillman, a founding member of the well-known seventies touring band Thunder Mountain, recently teamed up with Door County mandolinist and guitarist Pete Evans to create the Creek Pickers. The band’s repertoire includes traditional and contemporary bluegrass songs. Joining the Creek Pickers for this performance is Milwaukee guitarist and singer Jerry Wicentowski, currently a member of Third Coast Bluegrass Band, a Wisconsin-based bluegrass band.
This summer, Concerts at Noble Square are free for everyone. Every other Tuesday from 3 to 5 pm, bring a chair to the corner of Main Street and Highway 42, enjoy some shade, and listen to a variety of music from talented musicians. Spend the afternoon listening to music, shopping, having a bit to eat, and enjoying the waterfront. Then dine at one of Fish Creek’s nearby restaurants to create a wonderful day.
In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held at the Old Town Hall, 4176 Maple Street, block north of Noble Square.
