11th Annual Great Waffle Breakfast
Long overdue for a great breakfast? We invite you to join the staff and volunteers of The Ridges for the 11th Annual Great Waffle Breakfast. Again this year, the Baileys Harbor Town Hall will be filled with the aroma of delectable, golden waffles and breakfast sausage. Enjoy your fill of waffles of all shapes and sizes, topped with Door County maple syrup, homemade cherry topping and whipped cream.
Saturday, February 2 from 9:00-11:00am at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall. Donations of $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12 are appreciated.
Guided Sanctuary Hikes
After a great waffle breakfast, burn off a few calories by joining a Ridges naturalist for a guided hike on the Sanctuary trails. These hikes cover the cultural and natural history of the ridges and swales. Hikes end at the Center with a mug of hot chocolate or coffee. No reservation necessary. Snowshoe rentals available.
Fridays at 1:00PM. Saturdays at 10:00AM and 1:00PM (through March 30) at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center. Fee is $5 members; $8 public, and under 18 free.
Kids Story Hour and Yoga
Experience children’s literature that highlights compassion while incorporating movement and mindfulness. Story Hour will begin at 11:00 with a children’s story and corresponding movement activity. An open-ended art opportunity will be available following the story hour.
Saturdays through Feb. 23 at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center. This is a FREE event.
On February 2, Mia’s Mountain Hike by Giselle Shardlow Yoga “Hike” will have children re-enact Mia’s Mountain Hike as they learn new yoga poses.
