Fish Creek, Wis. (July 16, 2025) – On Wednesday, July 23, at 8 p.m., folk trio The Wailin’ Jennys will return to Door Community Auditorium (DCA) by popular demand.
The Wailin’ Jennys are Nicky Mehta, Ruth Moody, and Heather Masse—three distinct voices that together make an achingly perfect vocal sound. Starting as a happy accident of solo singer-songwriters getting together for a one-time-only performance at a tiny guitar shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Wailin’ Jennys have since earned a place as one of today’s most beloved international folk groups. Founding members Ruth Moody and Nicky Mehta, along with New York-based Heather Masse, continue to create some of the most exciting and exquisite music on the folk-roots scene, stepping up their musical game with each critically-lauded recording and thrilling audiences with their renowned live performances.
The Berkshire Edge wrote that the Wailin’ Jennys produce “great songs, tasteful and meticulously polished arrangements, and staggeringly precise vocal and instrumental performances.”
The Wailin’ Jennys’s performance is made possible with support from underwriting sponsor Cynthia Stiehl & The MMG Foundation in celebration of Northern Sky; major sponsors EH Barker, Dörr Hotel, and WPR; and supporting sponsors Richard and Barbara Board, Cordon Family Foundation, Beth Healy and Mike Fordney, and The White Gull Inn.
The show begins at 8 p.m. on July 23. Tickets range from $40-68, plus sales tax and a facility fee of $2/ticket and $6/order. Advance reservations are encouraged. The DCA box office is located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 12-5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person, on the phone at (920) 868-2728, or online at www.dcauditorium.org.
